The Family Planning Association of Sri Lanka (FPA Sri Lanka), with funding support from the Swedish Association for Sexuality Education (RFSU), implements a range of initiatives under the RFSU Project to advance Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) in Sri Lanka. The 2025-2026 RFSU project focus on three thematic areas: Disability and SRHR, Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE), and Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV). Through these thematic areas, the Family Planning Association of Sri Lanka works to promote inclusive access to SRHR information, empower youth and other vulnerable communities, and strengthen advocacy on human rights, gender equality, and CSE.
The RFSU Project includes diverse interventions such as needs analyses, training for educators and professionals, development of SRHR resources, advocacy campaigns, and digital awareness initiatives that connect SRHR with broader issues like disability inclusion and gender-based violence. These interventions are designed to build capacity, foster meaningful youth participation, and strengthen collaboration between government institutions, civil society, and development partners.
The Project Coordinator – RFSU will be responsible for the overall coordination, implementation, and monitoring of all activities under the RFSU project, ensuring the achievement of planned results within the project period.
The role requires a proactive, organized, and detail-oriented individual capable of managing multiple activities, coordinating with partners, and ensuring smooth operational and reporting processes.
The Project Coordinator will work under the direct supervision of the Project Consultant – RFSU, and will work in close collaboration with internal technical teams, implementing partners, and relevant stakeholders.
The position is for a period of six months, commencing in July 2026 and concluding in December 2026, with a possibility of an extension.
