Job Title: Transport Supervisor (Staff Transport Services)
Job Summary
The Transport Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of staff transportation services, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient transport for employees. The role involves managing drivers, coordinating vehicle schedules, monitoring fleet performance, handling transport-related issues, and ensuring compliance with company policies and transportation regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily staff transport operations.
- Ensure timely pickup and drop-off of employees according to approved schedules.
- Monitor route efficiency and implement improvements to optimize service delivery.
- Manage vehicle allocation based on operational requirements.
Driver Supervision
- Supervise and support drivers to ensure professional and safe service.
- Conduct driver briefings and communicate operational updates.
- Monitor driver attendance, performance, and compliance with company policies.
- Investigate and address driver-related incidents, complaints, or disciplinary matters.
Fleet Coordination
- Monitor the availability and condition of vehicles.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections, and vehicle servicing.
- Ensure all vehicles have valid licenses, insurance, and regulatory documentation.
- Report vehicle defects and arrange prompt corrective action.
Safety and Compliance
- Enforce road safety standards and company transport policies.
- Ensure compliance with local transportation regulations and labor requirements.
- Conduct regular safety checks and risk assessments.
- Investigate accidents and incidents and prepare detailed reports.
Customer Service
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding transport operations.
- Resolve transport-related issues, delays, and employee complaints promptly.
- Maintain high service standards and customer satisfaction.
Reporting and Administration
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
- Maintain records of vehicle usage, fuel consumption, driver attendance, and incidents.
- Monitor transport costs and support budget control initiatives.
- Use transport management systems and GPS tracking tools to monitor operations.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in transport, logistics, or fleet operations.
- Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
- Valid driving license (preferred).

- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
