Role Overview
As a Telemarketing Intern & Trainee, you will be an important part of our sales and customer engagement team. This internship provides hands-on experience in customer communication, product promotion, and lead generation while developing your confidence and professional skills in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls using provided customer databases to introduce and promote products
- Handle incoming customer inquiries professionally and efficiently
- Explain product features, offers and promotions clearly to customers
- Build and maintain positive customer relationships
- Record customer details and update information accurately in the system
- Support the team in achieving daily call and sales targets
- Coordinate with the sales team for smooth order processing
- Provide feedback and follow up with leads as directed
Candidate Profile
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Basic computer literacy and MS Office knowledge
- Good listening and speaking skills
- Self-motivated and target-oriented
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- No prior experience required – training will be provided
- Male candidate only
- School leavers are also welcome to apply
- Candidates residing close to Rathmalana will be given preference
