Manager - Engineering

Job Summary:

The selected candidate will take on a high level of responsibility and ownership for the Engineering department. You will lead engineering operations with a specialized focus on electrical systems and industrial automation to ensure maximum equipment reliability, operational continuity, and plant efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strong leadership and team management for the engineering division.
  • Direct and oversee electrical engineering maintenance across the industrial plant.
  • Manage plant maintenance, electrical systems, and industrial automation to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
  • Lead project management initiatives and execute preventive maintenance, predictive, and reliability engineering programs.
  • Apply good decision making and problem solving abilities to drive maintenance excellence and resolve operational breakdowns.
  • Utilize good communication skills to effectively coordinate with cross-functional teams.
  • Maintain a high level of responsibility and ownership over plant infrastructure, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The Ideal Candidate Should Possess

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in electrical engineering maintenance or within an industrial plant.
  • Proven experience in plant maintenance, electrical systems, and industrial automation.
  • Hands-on experience in project management, alongside preventive maintenance, predictive, and reliability engineering.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Good decision making and problem solving abilities.
  • Good communication skills.
  • A demonstrated high level of responsibility and ownership.
