Business Development Manager – Hospitality

Experience: 5-8 Years | Work From Home

We are looking for an experienced, commercially driven hospitality professional to take full ownership of our brand-new boutique property growth, performance, and guest experience. This is not a standard operations role — it is a high-impact, business-focused position where you will be responsible for driving occupancy, increasing revenue, building a strong brand presence, and delivering an outstanding guest experience. You will play a key role in developing the business from the ground up, building and leading the team, and positioning the property for long-term success, with potential future opportunities to expand into managing or working with international properties and hotel groups.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own and drive occupancy, revenue, and overall commercial performance of the property.
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to increase bookings and maximize revenue.
  • Identify new revenue streams, including events, partnerships, and corporate bookings.
  • Lead and oversee the property’s digital presence and promotion across all key channels.
  • Work closely with marketing teams to drive social media campaigns and improve online visibility.
  • Optimize listings across booking platforms, Google, and hospitality marketplaces to improve conversion rates.
  • Build strong relationships with travel agents, corporate clients, local businesses, and event organizers.
  • Develop strategic partnerships to ensure a consistent pipeline of guests and bookings.
  • Drive repeat business and customer loyalty through premium guest service.
  • Ensure a high-end, seamless “wow factor” guest experience from enquiry to post-stay.
  • Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing hospitality team with clear standards and processes.
  • Track and analyze KPIs such as occupancy rate, revenue, and guest feedback to drive continuous improvement.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Hospitality Background: Proven experience in hotels, serviced villas, boutique apartments, or premium hospitality settings (not purely corporate or administrative).
  • Commercial Mindset: Strong background in business development, sales, or commercial roles with a demonstrated ability to increase occupancy and revenue.
  • Digital Savvy: Experience managing or supporting digital marketing and online booking platforms (OTAs).
  • Leadership & Drive: Strong leadership skills with a highly proactive, hands-on, and results-driven mindset.
  • Tools & Flexibility: Must have your own laptop, be comfortable with modern digital tools, and be flexible to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to maintain premium service standards.
