Location: Assembly Plant Ambathale
Euro Motors is seeking two highly motivated, data-driven Operations Management Undergraduate Interns to join our production facility. These roles are designed for students looking to fulfill their mandatory academic internship requirements by driving real-world impact. You will work directly under senior management to implement ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems and deploy Modern Operational Management Techniques to maximize plant efficiency and effectiveness.
Job Description
- To assist the Quality Assurance team in mapping, documenting, and standardizing assembly processes to achieve and maintain ISO 9001 compliance across the plant.
- Process Mapping: Audit current automotive assembly workflows and create detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- ISO Documentation: Help draft Quality Manuals, work instructions, and compliance checklists aligned with ISO 9001 standards.
- Gap Analysis: Identify deviations between current shop floor practices and required quality standards.
- Audit Preparation: Support the internal audit team by organizing compliance files and tracking corrective action plans (CAPA).
- 5S Implementation: Implement best 5S practices.
Qualifications
- 3–6 Months (Fulfilling Academic Internship Requirements)
- Ability to understand ISO 9001 principles and quality control tools (e.g., Fishbone, Pareto charts)
- High attention to detail and writing skills for SOP creation.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and flowchart software (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart).
- Knowledge in Ms. Project and Project Management
- This internship must be a mandatory or highly recommended component of your academic qualification.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) is required; knowledge of the local language is a strong asset for shop-floor communication.
