Management Trainee - Finance

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in accounts receivable processes including invoicing.
  • Monitor customer accounts to ensure accurate recording of receivables.
  • Support reconciliation of customer accounts.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate records of all receivable transactions in line with company policies.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to receivables and general finance functions.
  • Prepare aging reports, collection summaries, and other receivable-related reports for management review.
  • Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation related to receivables.
  • Stay updated on finance best practices, credit control procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Graduates or part-qualified candidates in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA / ACCA / CIMA / AAT or equivalent).
  • 1-2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or general finance will be an added advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of revenue recognition and receivable management processes.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office applications.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, especially in handling customer interactions.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced work environment.
