ABOUT THIS ROLE

As an EHS – Assistant, you will support the implementation and monitoring of health, safety, and environmental standards across operations. You will be responsible for conducting safety inductions, inspections, and training sessions, while ensuring compliance with established HSE regulations and company policies. This role involves maintaining accurate safety documentation, reporting incidents, and working closely with managers, engineers, and supervisors to promote a safe and compliant working environment. Strong attention to detail, proactive engagement, and a commitment to workplace safety are essential for success in this role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct safety inductions, Tool Inspections, toolbox talks, and training sessions for workers.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits.
  • Prepare incident/accident reports and maintain safety documentation.
  • Work closely with managers, engineers, and supervisors to promote safe work practices.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience as a Safety Officer in industrial environments (3 to 5 yrs).
  • Sound knowledge of HSE standards and safety regulations.
  • Relevant safety certifications (NEBOSH / IOSH or equivalent preferred).
