Customer Service Agent

Based in Sri Lanka

Our client is a leading international retail and distribution company specializing in fresh produce, groceries, and specialty food products sourced from global markets. With a strong presence in the United Kingdom, the organization is committed to delivering quality products, exceptional customer service, and outstanding value to diverse communities. The company is seeking a Customer Service Agent to support its online retail operations and provide professional customer service to UK and international customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage customer inquiries through phone, email, chat, and other communication channels.
  • Provide prompt, professional, and customer-focused support to UK and international customers.
  • Resolve customer complaints and ensure timely follow-up and issue resolution.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and service activities.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Monitor customer feedback and support continuous service improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with service standards, procedures, and confidentiality requirements.
  • Prepare customer service reports and perform other duties as assigned.

PROFILE

  • Diploma/Degree in Business, Customer Service, Communication, Marketing, or related field.
  • 2-4 years' experience in Customer Service, Call Centre, or Customer Relations roles.
  • Experience with UK/international customers or BPO/shared services is an advantage.
  • Strong English communication skills (spoken and written) with a neutral accent.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong customer handling and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
