IMMEDIATE OVERSEAS VACANCIES IN FIJI ISLANDS
CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERS (Infrastructure & Subdivisions)
Our client in Fiji Islands is a well-established civil engineering and construction company specializing in infrastructure development, road construction, drainage, water and sewer reticulation, and residential and commercial subdivisions, delivering quality solutions for government and private sector clients nationwide.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and supervise civil construction projects, including roads, drainage, utilities, and subdivisions.
- Carry out surveying, setting out, and site inspections to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
- Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders while monitoring project progress, costs, quality, and safety.
- Prepare project documentation, reports, as-built drawings, and handover records.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and local authority requirements, while promoting a strong safety culture.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent, with 3–5 years of experience in civil construction, surveying, and infrastructure projects.
- Proficient in surveying equipment, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Project, and Microsoft Office, with strong ability to interpret drawings and set-out data.
- Strong technical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with a valid driver’s license and willingness to work across multiple sites in Fiji.
- Capable of working effectively in tropical conditions and a multicultural environment.
