GENERAL MANAGER
Securi-Fire International (Pvt) Ltd, a member of a diversified engineering group with over 25 years of excellence in Sri Lanka, is a leading provider of end-to-end Fire & Life Safety Systems solutions to the industrial and marine sectors.
As we enter an exciting phase of growth and transformation, we are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented General Manager to lead the business and drive operational excellence, profitability, and sustainable growth. Reporting to the Group Chairman and Board of Directors, the successful candidate will possess strong leadership, commercial, operational, and financial capabilities. Candidates with experience in engineering or project-based businesses, supported by a strong Finance background and professional accounting qualifications, will have a distinct advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving business growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
- Leading day-to-day operations across Sales, Projects, Service & Maintenance, Procurement, Finance, and Administration.
- Operationalising and optimizing the newly implemented ERP system to improve business visibility and decision-making.
- Developing and implementing SOPs, internal controls, and performance management systems to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Driving digital transformation initiatives across business operations.
- Strengthening the company's brand positioning, market presence, and customer relationships.
- Developing and executing strategic business development initiatives and growth plans.
- Monitoring project performance, cash flow, working capital, and overall business profitability.
- Ensuring compliance with corporate governance, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- SLIM, CIM, CIMA, MBA, BCom, BSc or equivalent academic and professional qualifications.
- 10–15 years of managerial experience with a proven track record in business leadership, operations management, and business development.
- Strong commercial, operational, and financial acumen with the ability to drive growth, profitability, and organizational performance.
- Experience in ERP implementation, process improvement, and digital transformation initiatives will be an added advantage.
- Exposure to Fire Protection Systems, Building Services Engineering, ELV Systems, Engineering Contracting, or Technical Services businesses is desirable but not essential.
- Candidates with a strong Finance background and professional accounting qualifications, coupled with relevant industry experience, will have a distinct advantage.
