SENIOR MANAGER / MANAGER INBOUND (EUROPEAN MARKET)
Karusan Travels Pvt Ltd, a leading Destination Management Company with over 20 years of experience in inbound and outbound tourism operations in Sri Lanka and the Maldives, is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team.
The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in sales and marketing within the travel industry and demonstrate a proven ability to develop, manage, and sustain strong client and partner relationships.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, travel agents, and business partners while ensuring exceptional customer service and client satisfaction.
- Conduct persuasive presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients and partners.
- Lead, motivate, and manage a high-performing team, including organizing training and development programs to enhance skills and industry knowledge.
- Foster a collaborative, positive, and results-oriented work environment.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the European inbound market.
- Conduct market research to identify customer preferences and emerging opportunities.
- Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activities.
- Prepare regular reports on market performance, sales activities, and strategic initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in sales and marketing within the travel and tourism industry.
- Bachelor's Degree or professional qualification in Tourism & Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of inbound travel operations, itinerary planning, package development, costing, and tour handling.
- Proficiency in German or another European language will be a distinct advantage.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Willingness to travel locally and internationally as required.
- Age between 30 and 45 years.
