Area Sales Managers – Central, Southern & Uva Provinces

The selected candidate should be based in the Central, Southern or Uva Province and must be passionate about meeting people, building relationships and closing business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for managing and growing existing business in the assigned territory while actively identifying and developing new business opportunities. The role will cover both reseller points and hotel sector customers, including hotels, resorts, villas, guest houses, retailers, distributors and institutional clients.

You will be expected to maintain strong customer relationships, improve product availability, identify market gaps, conduct effective sales presentations, negotiate business deals and ensure sales targets are achieved.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in B2B sales, preferably with exposure to business development, hospitality, FMCG, home textiles, retail distribution or similar industries.
  • A professional qualification in Sales, Marketing or Management.
  • Strong ability to develop new customers and manage existing accounts.
  • Excellent relationship-building, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • A high-performance mindset with a passion for achieving sales targets.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned territory.
  • Residence in the Central, Southern or Uva Province will be an added advantage.
