Laundry Assistant / Linen Assistant

Responsibilities
- Sort, wash, dry, iron, fold, and distribute hospital linen and uniforms.
- Handle soiled and clean linen according to hospital hygiene and infection-control procedures.
- Count, record, store, and replenish linen stock accurately.
- Collect and deliver linen to hospital departments on time.
- Report damaged items, shortages, and maintenance issues promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry and linen areas.
Requirements
- G.C.E. O/L or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in laundry, housekeeping, or linen handling is an advantage.
- Physically fit and able to stand for long hours and lift moderate loads.
- Good attention to detail, cleanliness, and responsibility.
- Ability to work in shifts and as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of workplace hygiene and safety practices is preferred.
