VACANCY FOR THE POST OF INDEPENDENT QUALITY AUDITOR
Miami Exports (Pvt) Ltd is a leading children’s apparel exporter with expertise in every stitch of the garments they produce. As such, a deep understanding of the apparel industry, gained through experience and exposure, is essential to presenting a superior clothing line.
This vacancy exists at one of our VM Plants in Bibile
Responsibilities:
- Final Inspection: conduct the final inspection of finished garments before shipment to ensure they meet buyer specifications and quality standards.
- Compliance Verification: Ensure that garments comply with buyer requirements, technical packs, approved samples, and AQL standards.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare detailed inspection reports, including defect analysis, packaging checks, and quantity verification. Communicate findings to factory management and buyers as needed.
- Process Evaluation: Review production processes to identify potential quality risks and implement preventive measures.
- Training and Guidance: Train factory QA teams on inspection protocols and quality standards to maintain consistency and minimize defects.
- Audit Preparation: Support third-party audits by maintaining proper documentation and demonstrating the QA process.
- Root Cause Analysis: Investigate quality issues found during inspection and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Qualifications:
- A degree or diploma in Textile Engineering, Apparel Technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar capacity in a reputable apparel company with a track record of success is required.
- Strong exposure to final inspections, buyer quality standards, and international compliance norms.
- Familiarity with AQL standards, garment construction, measurement techniques, and fabric performance.
- High level of accuracy and vigilance in identifying defects and non-conformities.
- Ability to prepare reports and communicate clearly with factory teams, suppliers, and buyers.
- Excellent command of communication, leadership skills & computer literacy.
- Independent, self-motivated individual dedicated to work under the age of 45.
