What you need to do
- Manage the category's sales and ensure that margins align with company objectives.
- Ensure that work is aligned with Keells' pricing policies.
- Complete projects within the given period of time also ensuring quality of project implementation.
- Bring out and develop sourcing strategies to optimize on procurement costs.
- Align with the volatile market conditions and consumer buying behaviors.
- Analyze data to determine the industry, consumer, and product category trends.
What you need
- Should possess a Degree in Business Management/Marketing/Physical Sciences or a Professional Qualification in CIMA/ACCA/CIM.
- Outstanding communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Demonstrable aptitude in effective negotiating.
- Up to speed with purchasing best practices.
- Familiarity with market research, data analysis and forecasting techniques.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
