LOGISTICS EXECUTIVE
Overview
We are looking for a proactive and organized Logistics Executive to support our logistics and supply chain operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a young professional to build a career in a dynamic and growing organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage & dealing with foreign suppliers (e.g India, Malaysia, China, Greece, Italy & etc.. ) and local purchases and their activities.
- Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries.
- Handle customs clearance, shipping, compliance documentation & post order costings.
- Track shipments, resolve logistics issues, and maintain records.
- Support inventory management and logistics process improvements.
- Prepare reports and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Maintain and responsible for minimum order levels on materials, chemicals etc..
- Perform within set/given budgets and cost negotiations.
Requirements
- Diploma or professional qualification in Logistics Management or a related field.
- 1–2 years' experience in Logistics/Supply Chain, or completion of two or more relevant internships.
- Good communication skills in English and Sinhala.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel and Word).
- Strong initiative, multitasking ability, and a pleasant personality.
- Immediate availability will be an added advantage.
