Assistant Engineer / Technical Officer (Telecom Projects)
We are a Public Listed Company engaged in Telecommunication, Electrical, Water & Civil Engineering Projects in Sri Lanka, for nearly four decades. We urgently require energetic Assistant Engineer / Technical Officer for our regional Telecom Project Office at Maharagama. Candidates who fulfil below requirements are encouraged to apply.

Job profile
- Supervise fiber cable laying (aerial / underground / duct / pole routes) at site
- Coordinate splicing, termination & testing activities
- Ability to understand project drawings, specifications & variations for execution
- Ensure installation follows drawings & BOQs
- Monitor subcontractors & field technicians at site
- Conduct site inspections & progress tracking
- Execute project plans, monitor progress, and liaise with clients for project completion & testing
- Willing to work at any part of the island
Educational Qualifications
- Professional Qualification from a recognized institution related to Telecommunications such as Diploma, Advanced Diploma, NCT, NVQ Level IV or above Qualification
Work experience
- 2+ years' experience in Telecommunication service field in:
- Fiber Network Development (FTTH/OSP)
- Site management & monitoring
- workforce coordination & labor supervision
Skills & competencies
- Strong leadership & people handling skill.
- Computer literacy (MS Office, network tools, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to multitask & work under pressure.
Language preferred
- Fluency in Sinhala
- Proficiency in English
