Jafferjee Brothers Exports (Pvt) Ltd is a member of a pioneering and diversified group of companies in Sri Lanka with over 70 years history in the export of Rubber Products Tea, Apparel, Activated Carbon and in Financial Services.
We are in search of hard working results oriented individual to join as Purchasing/Logistic Assistant of our rubber product division in Colombo.
JOB SUMMARY
- Assist in the Purchasing In-Charge by supporting purchasing activities, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring to run the department in an effective and efficient manner in carrying out the following functions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare purchase orders and support follow up with suppliers.
- Communicate with third parties regarding purchases & coordination.
- Updating ERP System for recording all Purchasing & Logistic related transactions.
- Visiting banks, EDB, Customs and other related Institutions when necessary.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently.
REQUIREMENTS
- Passed G.C.E.A/L
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience in procurement or related field will be an added advantage.
- Age below 30 years.
