INTERNAL AUDIT EXECUTIVE
Location: Colombo 2

As the Internal Audit Executive of the Group, you are responsible for execution of internal audits across the Group Companies and generate reviews within given timelines. You will bring in depth knowledge, understanding and exposure of internal audit function you have gathered during your career. You will assess and recommend sound internal controls, processes in order to achieve business goals whilst safeguarding assets of the group. You will be joining a team of experienced professionals in the field of Internal Financial Management and will pave your way for a mutually beneficial career within the Group. This position will be based in our Head Office situated at Colombo 02.
Key Job Functions;
- Plan and execute internal audits and other engagements within agreed timeline.
- Execute audit procedures under the supervision of the Head of Risk and Controls.
- Identify appropriate source of evidence, evaluating, collecting, and retaining sufficient and appropriate evidence pertaining to audit observations.
- Discuss audit observations with relevant process managers.
The ideal candidate should have the following prerequisites;
- Partly qualified in CA/ CIA/ ACCA.
- Completion of required practical training (Min 02 years) in audit firm or mercantile sector. Experience in auditing functions in manufacturing/ AGRI processing sectors will be an added advantage.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Willing to travel other business locations for audit purposes as and when needed.
