We invite applications from suitably qualified individuals for the post of Intern – Cloud Solutions and Services. The selected candidate will report to the Practice Manager – Cloud Solutions & Services.
The Intern – Cloud Solutions and Services will be responsible for:
- Assisting in building and maintaining ETL pipelines, supporting data processing, transformation, and integration activities across cloud-based platforms such as Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Fabric, and SQL databases.
- Writing and optimizing SQL queries for data extraction, validation, reporting, and supporting the management of structured and unstructured data across cloud environments.
- Performing data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, while contributing to the development of Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
- Supporting Azure AI Foundry initiatives, including data preparation, prompt experimentation, and basic AI/ML-related activities using Python or similar technologies.
- Collaborating with team members to understand business requirements and assist in designing data solutions, data flows, system integrations, and data architecture concepts.
- Preparing presentations, technical documentation, reports, and process guides to communicate project progress, insights, and findings.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Basic knowledge or academic exposure to Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Fabric, SQL Databases, and ETL/data pipeline concepts.
- Familiarity with SQL, Power BI, and programming languages such as Python, R, or similar technologies.
- Understanding of data modeling, data integration, and cloud-based data management concepts; exposure to statistics and machine learning concepts will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
