Junior Executive Officer – Information Systems Audit
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assess and report on the effectiveness of the bank’s internal control environments to proactively mitigate and reduce the risk of financial loss
- Conduct critical tests prior to the implementation of new systems and execute all expected controls within the Information Systems (IS) Audit scope
- Review and verify the adherence to internal guidelines, policies, delegated authority limits, and external regulatory requirements
- Liaise effectively with line management during and after assignments, and deliver clear, finalized audit and follow-up reports
- Support to achieve the business objectives through effective guidance on controls and risk mitigation
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or Information Security from a recognized university or currently following a professional qualification in a related area
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Banking/Finance or Audit
- Prior experience in preparing audit reports and strong report-writing skills is highly desirable
- Excellent command of spoken and written English and interpersonal skills
