Assistant HR Manager
Catalan Industries (Pvt) Ltd is a well-established, leading footwear manufacturer in Sri Lanka. Driven by innovation and quality, we take pride in our rapidly growing presence in the industry. We are currently looking for a dynamic, energetic, and result-oriented professional to join our team at the Matara.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement HR strategies, policies and procedures aligned with organizational objectives.
- Lead end - to - end recruitment and talent acquisition strategies to build a strong talent pipeline.
- Oversee performance management systems and drive employee development and succession planning.
- Promote employee engagement, retention and a positive organizational culture.
- Manage employee relations, conflict resolution and disciplinary matters.
- Ensure compliance with Sri Lankan labor laws, statutory requirements and company policies.
- Oversee compensation and benefits administration and recommend improvements.
- Lead and mentor the HR team, building capability and accountability.
- Analyze HR metrics and prepare reports to support data-driven decision making.
- Partner with senior management to support business growth and change initiatives.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices in Sri Lanka.
- Proven experience in HR strategy, talent management, performance management and employee relations.
- Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office ( Excel, Word, PowerPoint ) and HRIS systems.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with the utmost integrity.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
