CUSTOMER CARE TEAM LEAD

WISHQUE, SRI LANKA'S LEADING ONLINE RETAIL AND GIFT DELIVERY COMPANY, IS SEEKING A DYNAMIC AND CUSTOMER-FOCUSED CUSTOMER CARE TEAM LEAD TO JOIN OUR GROWING TEAM. THIS ROLE IS IDEAL FOR SOMEONE WITH STRONG CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE, PREFERABLY WITH EXPOSURE TO CORPORATE CUSTOMER HANDLING, CALL CENTRE OPERATIONS, AND IN-PERSON CUSTOMER ASSISTANCE. THE SELECTED CANDIDATE WILL LEAD THE CUSTOMER CARE TEAM WHILE ENSURING EVERY CUSTOMER RECEIVES A PROFESSIONAL, EFFICIENT, AND MEMORABLE SERVICE EXPERIENCE.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and daily support to Customer Care Representatives to maintain high service standards.
  • Handle inbound and outbound customer calls professionally, ensuring timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries.
  • Assist walk-in customers, pickup customers, and outlet order customers with a friendly and helpful approach.
  • Support customers with product inquiries, delivery updates, order-related questions, complaints, and service requests.
  • Manage and support corporate customer inquiries, quotations, gifting requirements, and follow-ups.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate customers to encourage repeat business and customer loyalty.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3-5 years of experience in customer service, contact centre, front-office, or customer-facing roles, preferably with supervisory experience.
  • Previous experience handling corporate customers, corporate sales support, or business customer inquiries will be an added advantage.
  • Strong customer service mindset with the ability to build rapport and trust.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Sinhala, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to handle customer complaints professionally and provide practical solutions.
  • Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple customer requirements.
  • Good computer literacy and experience using customer service, CRM, or order management systems.
