EXECUTIVE - FREIGHT & LOGISTICS SALES

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities in Freight Forwarding, Transportation, Warehousing, Distribution, and Value-Added Services.
  • Generate new sales leads through networking, cold calling, referrals, and customer visits.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to the company's revenue growth objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
  • Conduct sales presentations, client meetings, and commercial negotiations.
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and service agreements according to customer requirements.
  • Coordinate closely with Operations and Customer Service teams to ensure exceptional service delivery.
  • Monitor market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities to identify business opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate sales pipeline reports, customer records, and activity reports.
  • Ensure timely follow-up on customer inquiries and support account receivable collections when required.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in Freight Forwarding, Logistics, Shipping, Transportation, or Supply Chain Sales.
  • Strong understanding of freight forwarding operations, transportation solutions, warehousing, and supply chain services.
  • Proven ability to achieve sales targets and develop new business opportunities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer relationship management and account development capabilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Possession of a valid driving license will be an added advantage.
  • Self-motivated, energetic, and results-oriented personality.
