Spin Bowling Coach – High Performance Centre
Sri Lanka Cricket invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals for the position of Spin Bowling Coach – High Performance Centre.
Main Job Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct spin bowling coaching programmes for emerging and high-performance cricketers
- Develop technical, tactical, and mental aspects of spin bowling across different formats of the game
- Monitor and evaluate player performances and provide regular feedback and development plans
- Work closely with national pathway coaches, strength & conditioning staff, analysts, and other support personnel to ensure holistic player development
- Assist in talent identification and succession planning for spin bowling talent across provincial and national pathways
- Prepare training schedules, reports, and player progress evaluations as required by the High Performance Centre
- Support national squads, development squads, camps, and tournaments when assigned
- Promote professional standards, discipline, and a high-performance culture among players
Qualifications & Experience
- Level 3 Coaching Qualification or an equivalent internationally recognized coaching certification
- Proven experience in coaching spin bowling at elite, first-class, provincial, or national level
- Strong technical understanding of spin bowling techniques, match strategies, and player development methodologies
- Experience working within a high-performance sporting environment will be an added advantage
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in performance analysis tools and modern coaching technologies will be advantageous
