Manager - Finance

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the financial transition from an agency model to a Joint Venture (JV) structure, ensuring compliance with policies, regulations, and JV agreements.
  • Coordinate with regional headquarters and senior leadership on the implementation of new controls, procedures, revenue-sharing models, and reporting requirements.
  • Oversee the integration of financial systems, processes, and controls to support seamless JV operations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate management reporting, budgeting, tax compliance, and statutory obligations to support business decision-making.
  • Manage annual audits and maintain strong stakeholder confidence through effective financial governance.
  • Lead, develop, and motivate the finance team, driving performance, capability development, and successful adoption of new processes.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree recognized by the UGC, or an equivalent professional qualification.
  • Member/Associate Member of CIMA, ACA, ACCA, CPA, or an equivalent internationally recognized accounting qualification.
  • Minimum of 6 years’ work experience in related discipline with 03 years’ experience at the Assistant Manager level.
  • Strong expertise in financial management, budgeting, taxation, treasury, corporate governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Sound knowledge of IFRS/SLFRS and Sri Lankan tax and company law requirements.
  • Experience working with international stakeholders, including principals, customers, financial institutions, auditors, and regulators.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably SAP, and other financial reporting tools.
