We seek a detail oriented and proactive individual to support the organization's risk management function. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, monitoring and mitigating operational risks across CDB, ensuring robust risk governance frameworks are maintained and continuously improved.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular monitoring of identified risks and proactively scan both internal and external environments to unearth emerging risk areas before they materialize
  • Evaluate existing risk exposures and make recommendations to reduce or control risks through improved execution of the risk management framework, risk registers and Risk Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs) across CDB
  • Prepare and present clear, structured reports and presentations that outline findings, highlight risk trends and make actionable recommendations for improvement
  • Communicate results effectively to diverse audiences including the Operational Risk Management Committee (ORMC) and the Board Integrated Risk Management Committee (BIRMC)
  • Maintain the operational risk near-miss and loss event database with accuracy and timeliness
  • Conduct root cause analyses on risk events as applicable to prevent recurrence

Relevant Skills, Knowledge & Experience

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management or related field or professional qualification such as CIMA/ACCA/CA
  • 2-3 years' experience in a related field
  • Qualifications in Risk Management would be an added advantage
  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgement to provide advice and take initiatives in relevant risk areas
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office
