CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER (COO)
ECHEM EDUCATIONS is one of Sri Lanka's leading A/L education brands, reaching tens of thousands of students through physical, online, and digital learning platforms. As we continue our rapid growth, we are seeking an experienced and results-driven Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead and optimize the organization's day-to-day operations, drive strategic execution, and ensure operational excellence across all departments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and oversee all operational functions across the organization.
- Develop and implement business strategies, systems, and processes.
- Drive organizational efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
- Establish and monitor KPIs across departments.
- Ensure effective collaboration among Academic, HR, Finance, Administration, Logistics, Marketing, and Student Support teams.
- Build and mentor high-performing leadership teams.
- Identify operational risks and implement practical solutions.
- Support business expansion, innovation, and long-term growth initiatives.
REQUIREMENTS
- Master's Degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field.
- 10-15 years of proven experience in a senior management or operational leadership role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in education service industries will be an added advantage.
- Ability to manage multiple departments and business functions effectively.
