AutoCAD DRAFTPERSON
Requirements
- Diploma / HND / Degree in ME P Engineering, Civil & Drawing Engineering, Drafting, CAD Design, or a related field
- Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD
- Knowledge of SolidWorks, Revit, Plant 3D, SketchUp, or other 3D software will be an added advantage
- Ability to prepare, read, and update engineering drawings
- Knowledge of dimensions, scales, layers, symbols, title blocks, and drawing standards
- Ability to take site measurements and convert them into accurate drawings
- Good coordination, attention to detail, and ability to work within deadlines
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare AutoCAD drawings for engineering projects
- Develop general arrangement drawings, plant layouts, equipment layouts, piping and electrical layouts, and installation drawings
- Prepare fabrication drawings, sectional drawings, and as-built drawings
- Support engineers with civil and plumbing BOQ preparation, material take-offs, and technical documentation
- Visit project sites when required to take measurements and verify site conditions
- Update drawings based on client comments, site changes, and engineer instructions
- Maintain proper drawing records, revisions, and project documentation
