We invite applications from suitably qualified individuals for the post of Intern GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance) Specialist. The selected candidate will report to the Senior GRC Specialist.
The Intern GRC Specialist will be responsible for:
- Assist in conducting risk assessments, compliance reviews, gap analysis, and policy evaluations.
- Support ISO 27001, ISO 27701, PDPA, and other compliance frameworks by collecting evidence and maintaining audit-ready documentation.
- Assist in developing, updating, and maintaining security policies, procedures, and GRC documentation.
- Support internal and external audit activities, including preparation of evidence and tracking remediation actions.
- Maintain and update risk registers, compliance trackers, and related GRC records.
- Collaborate with technical and business teams to understand governance, risk, and compliance requirements.
- Assist in monitoring regulatory and industry developments and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support the preparation of reports, dashboards, and presentations related to GRC activities.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Understanding of Information Security concepts and GRC frameworks such as ISO 27001, ISO 27701, NIST, PDPA, and GDPR.
- Familiarity with risk assessment, compliance, audit processes, and security controls (academic or internship exposure acceptable).
- Strong interest in governance, risk management, data protection, and compliance.
- Excellent analytical thinking and attention to detail with strong documentation skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work with teams.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and work in a structured environment.
- Ability to manage assigned tasks independently while contributing effectively in a team setting.
