We are a leading accounting firm based in the United States, providing comprehensive financial services to clients across various industries. We are currently looking to recruit a dynamic and enthusiastic Country Manager for our client in UK engaged in managing multiple Care Home Businesses.
Job Description:
The Country Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, performance and governance of the Sri Lanka (SL) office.
The role ensures high-quality, timely and accurate delivery of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Payroll services in line with group standards, while acting as the primary liaison between the SL office and the UK head office.
Requirements
- Experience in BPO / outsourced services environments
- Strong focus on controls, accuracy and process discipline
- Strong understanding of AR, AP and payroll processes
- Confident, personable and good communicator
- Clear communicator across cultures and geographies
- Experience of managing teams
- Attention to detail and deadline orientated
- Ambitious and keen to make an impact
Key Tasks/Responsibilities
- Ensuring the smooth running of the accounting office
- Be the key liaison between UK and Sri Lanka offices
- Ensure the team meets daily, weekly and monthly deadlines
- Gain an understanding of the tasks involved for each team
- Manage attendance, punctuality and holiday planners
- Monitor error rates, rework, turnaround times and productivity metrics
- Act as the escalation point for operational and performance issues
- Driving the team to achieve higher standards and improving overall output of team
- Build a strong culture of accountability, quality and continuous improvement
- Support management team, in recruitment and local compliance laws.
- Ensure adherence to group policies, procedures and control frameworks
- Translate UK head office priorities into clear operational actions for the local team
