Junior Executive – Operations cum Customer Service

We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Junior Executive – Operations cum Customer Service to support our Marine Lubricants business. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating customer inquiries, vessel deliveries, documentation, and operational activities while ensuring exceptional customer service and smooth delivery operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle customer inquiries and coordinate marine lubricant deliveries across all ports in Sri Lanka.
- Prepare nomination documents and coordinate orders with stores and bonded warehouses.
- Liaise with vessel agents, chandlers, delivery partners, and service providers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Provide customers with regular updates on delivery status and operational matters.
- Coordinate invoicing documentation and support the Finance Team with billing processes.
- Follow up on customer payments and support debtor management activities.
- Track vessel movements and identify opportunities to attract new customers and business.
- Deliver high levels of customer service while supporting day-to-day operational requirements.
Skills and Experience Required
- Professional or academic qualification in Marketing, Business Administration, Shipping, Logistics, or a related field.
- Prior experience in shipping, logistics, operations, or customer service will be an added advantage.
- Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
- Good understanding of operational coordination and documentation processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
