WE ARE LOOKING FOR A
EXECUTIVE – RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT
LOCATION – EMBILIPITIYA
We are Orit Apparels Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, a fully owned subsidiary of the global apparel giant Indochine International, and a leading manufacturer in the apparel sector. With state-of-the-art facilities and a people-driven culture, Orit has built a strong reputation as one of South Asia's largest denim manufacturers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Initiate, plan, coordinate, and manage research and development projects.
- Design CAD/SolidWorks models, including electronic/electrical wiring diagrams, control systems, and pneumatic schematics.
- Develop flowcharts and state machine diagrams, program and debug control systems.
- Design and fabricate prototypes for R&D projects.
- Coordinate the integration of mechanical, electronic/electrical, mechatronic, and pneumatic systems.
- Carry out hands-on fabrication including mechanical assembly, wiring, and control setup.
- Design and develop printed circuit boards (PCBs) for automation and control applications.
- Install and commission systems at other sites and conduct basic user training.
- Travel to group plants to initiate and manage R&D implementations.
The right candidate will be a young, self-motivated individual and will possess the following:
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and other CAD tools.
- Experience in PLC and microcontroller programming.
- Strong hands-on experience with workshop tools and machinery.
