Senior Barista (Head Barista)
The Head Barista is responsible for overseeing beverage preparation, maintaining coffee quality standards, managing bar operations, and guiding barista staff.
What you will be doing
- Prepare coffee and beverage items according to cafe standards.
- Maintain consistency in beverage quality and presentation.
- Supervise and support barista staff.
- Train and guide trainee and junior baristas.
- Monitor coffee bean and ingredient inventory.
- Ensure proper operation and maintenance of coffee equipment.
- Monitor cleanliness and organization of the beverage station.
- Assist with developing beverage menus and specials.
- Handle customer feedback relating to beverages.
- Support overall café operations when needed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum GCE O/L or A/L (high school diploma or equivalent)
- Previous experience as a barista.
- Strong understanding of coffee preparation techniques.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to train and mentor staff.
- Good customer service skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
