ASSISTANT MANAGER / MANAGER – WAREHOUSE

Position Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, managing, and optimizing all warehouse activities, ensuring smooth operations from receiving to distribution while maintaining high standards of inventory control, cost efficiency, and team performance.
Job Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, manage, and oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, transportation, storage, and distribution activities.
- Ensure smooth and efficient workflow while maintaining operational excellence.
- Monitor and optimize warehouse processes to improve productivity and service levels.
- Manage stock levels and inventory accuracy through effective stock control measures.
- Ensure proper documentation and timely reporting of inventory movements.
- Conduct regular stock audits and implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Lead, motivate, and develop the warehouse team to achieve operational targets.
- Ensure all warehouse activities are accurately documented and completed in a timely manner.
- Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure optimum utilization of warehouse space and storage facilities.
- Monitor operational costs and implement strategies to improve cost efficiency.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement effective solutions.
Candidate Profile
- Degree or equivalent professional qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional qualifications in Supply Chain Management will be to their advantage.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in warehouse operations within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience in inventory management, warehouse administration, and team leadership.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management and inventory control systems.
- Ability to identify operational gaps and implement sustainable improvements.
- Excellent leadership, planning, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems is mandatory.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
