MANAGER / ASSISTANT MANAGER

FINANCIAL CONTROLS

We are seeking a dynamic and detail oriented finance professional to join our team as an Manager/Assistant Manager – Financial Controls. The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening the company’s financial governance framework, treasury management, and internal control environment.

What you will lead:

  • Ensure General Ledger accounts are reconciled accurately and on a timely basis against supporting sub ledgers and source documents, maintaining the integrity of financial records.
  • Oversee treasury operations, including cash management, banking relationships, treasury forecasting, cash flow reporting, and working capital optimization to support operational and strategic decision making.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain robust financial controls, policies, and procedures while safeguarding company assets through effective risk management and compliance with internal policies.
  • Identify control gaps and process improvement opportunities, recommend practical solutions, and support internal and external audits, ensuring timely resolution of audit observations.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from a recognized university, with a full or part professional qualification (CA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • 6–8 years of relevant experience, including 3–4 years in a recognized audit firm.
  • Exposure to financial controls, risk management, audit, treasury, or finance operations will be an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, specifically SAP.
