ACCOUNTS EXECUTIVE / ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Preparation of daily operational reports.
  • Handle day to day accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable and general ledger entries.
  • Enter invoices, receipts, payments, and journal entries to the systems and handling bank reconciliations.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
  • Prepare comprehensive daily income and cost control reports.
  • Execute and oversee general ledger clearing activities to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Preparation of all Tax schedules.
  • Handle inventory management system.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Part qualified in CASL / CIMA or fully qualified in AAT (SL) would be an added qualification.
  • Experience in accounting packages of inventory modules would be a distinct advantage.
  • Good analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Age below 40.
  • Location: Peliyagoda.
