WORK STUDY EXECUTIVE
Miami Clothing is a leader in sustainable children's apparel manufacturing, serving top global brands in the UK. We are seeking a Work Study Executive to optimize our manufacturing processes, improve production efficiency, and eliminate waste across our facilities while upholding our commitment to sustainability and high-quality standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct work study, time study, and method study to improve operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain Standard Minute Values (SMVs) for manufacturing operations.
- Analyze production processes and recommend productivity improvements.
- Monitor line performance and identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency enhancement.
- Prepare operation breakdowns, process flow charts, and work instructions.
- Support production planning by providing accurate capacity and manpower analysis.
- Work closely with Production, Industrial Engineering, and Quality teams to implement process improvements.
- Prepare reports and analyze production performance data.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma or Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Textile & Apparel Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in Work Study/Industrial Engineering within the apparel manufacturing industry.
- Sound knowledge of time study, method study, SMV calculation, line balancing, and capacity planning.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of GSD or similar work measurement systems will be an added advantage.
