Executive – Laboratory
Dilmah is seeking a competent and detail-oriented individual to join the Food Technology Department as a Laboratory Executive. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge in chemical analysis and chemistry, together with sound analytical and problem-solving skills. The selected candidate will play a key role in supporting laboratory operations by ensuring accurate testing, quality compliance and timely reporting of analytical results.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct chemical analysis of tea, tea-based products, spices, herbs, and water samples.
- Ensure accurate testing, recording, and reporting of analytical results.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and testing standards.
- Support quality assurance, safety, and compliance requirements.
- Assist in calibration, validation, and continuous improvement activities.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Degree in Science / Applied Sciences with Chemistry as a major subject.
- Prior experience in a chemical laboratory will be considered an advantage.
- Knowledge or experience in ISO/IEC 17025 standards will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high quality and safety standards.
