EMBROIDERY PLANT HEAD
Miami Clothing is seeking an experienced Head of Embroidery to lead end-to-end embroidery operations, ensuring production excellence, superior quality, on-time delivery, and continuous operational improvement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operational leadership & planning
- Own embroidery plant execution from job scheduling through dispatch.
- Ensure confirmed planning for 4 months (or the agreed planning cycle) and communicate changes immediately.
- Maintain stable line balancing, staffing alignment, and machine readiness to support production targets.
- Production performance (OTD, output, and stability)
- Deliver On-Time Delivery (OTD) for embroidery jobs.
- Manage throughput across the embroidery lines/machines to meet monthly and seasonal volumes.
- Establish and maintain daily production reporting (planned vs actual, downtime, rework, defect causes).
- Ensure compliance with production quality requirements
- Achieve 100% compliance audit success by ensuring adherence to internal SOPs and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain documentation readiness for audits and internal reviews.
- Lead and develop supervisors/operators; set performance expectations and training needs.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 10 years experience in embroidery production leadership (plant/supervisory/manager role).
- Hands-on knowledge of embroidery processes, machine setup, line balancing, and defect prevention.
- Strong understanding of QA processes, defect analysis, and corrective action systems.
- Experience managing multi-shift operations and stabilizing new production lines/machines.
- Ability to create and manage production plans, track metrics, and run daily review routines.
