SENIOR WEB DEVELOPER
IPD is a public listed company specialized in providing electrical engineering products and solutions to the Australian market for over 65 years. The IPD Colombo team is the offshore unit of IPD Australia and currently consists of over 200 professionals collaborating with over 400 team members across Australia in a dynamic and innovative environment to achieve high-quality results.
We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Web Developer to develop, maintain, and enhance our websites, digital platforms, landing pages, and system integrations, ensuring optimal performance and continuous improvement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop, maintain, and optimize websites and landing pages.
- Implement UI/UX enhancements to improve user experience and functionality.
- Manage website, platform, and third-party system integrations.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve website and application issues.
- Support SEO initiatives and website performance optimization.
- Ensure website security, reliability, and overall performance.
- Publish and maintain website content and respond to web-related inquiries.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, developers, and stakeholders to gather, define, and refine requirements.
- Support usability testing and incorporate user feedback to improve digital experiences.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience in web development.
- Proficiency in modern front-end frameworks and libraries such as React, Next.js, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Strong experience with API development, consumption, and third-party system integrations.
- Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive web design principles.
- Knowledge of UI/UX best practices and the ability to implement user-centric web experiences.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG) and usability best practices.
- Experience using Git and version control workflows in a collaborative development environment.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
