We are looking for the right candidate with relevant qualifications & experience with right attitude for below position for our state-of-the-art 3PL warehouse, DGL Supply Chain Solutions (Pvt) Ltd at Muthurajawela Industrial Zone.
ASSISTANT MANAGER – FINANCE
DGL Supply Chain Solutions (Pvt) Ltd and DGL Freezone (Pvt) Ltd are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented professional to join our Finance team as an Assistant Manager – Finance.
Job Role
The selected candidate will be responsible for managing financial operations, ensuring accurate accounting, timely reporting, compliance, and effective financial control within a 3PL and logistics warehousing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting and financial operations.
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts, financial planning activities.
- Handle debtors, creditors, and cash flow management.
- Perform intercompany reconciliations and WIP costing.
- Coordinate and manage annual external audits and support internal audits.
- Liaise with banks, regulatory authorities, auditors, BOI, and tax departments.
- Ensure timely filing of tax returns and payment of statutory taxes.
- Maintain effective internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
Candidate Profile
- Fully or partly qualified in ICASL, CIMA, or ACCA.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting.
- Experience in the 3PL, logistics, or warehousing industry is required.
- Experience in cargo-wise ERP will be an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, taxation, and budgeting.
- Good analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting systems.
