PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE (POLYMER PRODUCTS)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and evaluate new polymer formulations and specialty chemical solutions.
- Conduct laboratory trials, product testing, and performance evaluations.
- Provide technical support and application development for customers.
- Work closely with international principals to introduce new technologies and products.
- Coordinate customer trials and analyze product performance.
- Prepare technical reports, product specifications, and application guides.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to provide technical solutions and customer training.
- Stay updated with market trends, emerging technologies, and competitor products.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's Degree in Polymer Science, Polymer Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
- 2-4 years of experience in polymer product development, technical services, R&D, or application development.
- Sound knowledge of polymer chemistry, additives, and processing technologies.
- Experience in laboratory testing, formulation development, and troubleshooting will be an added advantage.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple development projects.
- Good command of English and Sinhala.
- Possession of a valid driving license will be an added advantage.
