Join our Team as a Compliance Auditor
Location - Colombo 3, Sri Lanka.
Job Role
- Conduct on site factory audits across multiple locations in Sri Lanka to assess compliance with local labor laws, international safety standards, and brand codes of conduct.
- Issue non compliance (CAP) reports and work with suppliers to identify root causes and build corrective action plans.
- Monitor and verify remediation progress through follow up assessments to ensure sustained supplier compliance.
- Partner with factory management to develop continuous improvement strategies and mitigate compliance risks early.
- Support onboarding of new factories into the compliance framework. Travel required across factory locations island wide.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 5 years progressive experience in compliance, CSR, or EHS within a garment manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor's degree/diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or Labour Law preferred.
- Proven experience passing third party or customer audits (SMETA/Sedex, BSCI/Amfori, SA8000, WRAP).
- Working knowledge of ISO 45001, ILO conventions, and local labor law/statutory requirements.
- Proficiency in compliance platforms such as Sedex/SMETA, Higg Index, or internal ERP systems.
- Strong attention to detail is a must have.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Sinhala.
- Skilled in auditing, training, and consulting.
- Willing to be stationed across different factory locations for audits and factory onboarding.
