PREREQUISITES
- Part-qualified or fully qualified in CA/ ACCA/ CIMA.
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field will be considered an added advantage.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a similar finance role (preferably within shipping, logistics, or shared services environments).
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel and experience with accounting/ERP systems.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines in a high-volume environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage daily finance operations including payments, receipts, and bank reconciliations across multiple entities.
- Handle intercompany transactions and support shared services accounting activities.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely data updates in internal systems and principal reporting platforms.
- Coordinate with Operations, Sales, and other departments to resolve billing, payment, and accounting queries.
- Prepare management reports and assist in financial analysis as required.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and reporting standards within the shared services function.
