Engagement details
- Contract term: 12 months, renewable and intended as a long-term engagement
- Fee range: LKR 160,000 to 220,000 per month
- Fee note: All-inclusive contractor rate

1. About the Engagement
- We are engaging experienced systems-minded contractors to design and deliver automation solutions for our global client base.
- Our stack includes UiPath and adjacent tooling.
- Prior experience in these platforms is not required. Paid onboarding is provided.
- We are looking for people who understand how real systems fail, where processes break, and how to turn messy operations into dependable workflows.
2. Key Responsibilities
- Interview stakeholders and map current business processes, including undocumented exceptions.
- Design, build, test and deploy automation workflows.
- Integrate systems using APIs, webhooks and databases.
- Monitor deployed automations, diagnose and remediate them.
- Produce concise documentation to a standard a client can understand.
- Work directly with the directors on scoping and delivery.
3. What We Require
- 8+ years of professional IT experience in systems administration, infrastructure, business systems, IT management or similar.
- Working understanding of APIs, JSON, webhooks and authentication.
- Scripting literacy in PowerShell, Bash, Python, VBA or similar.
- Experience owning or taking responsibility for a production system.
- Strong written English for direct client communication.
- A debugging mindset and disciplined problem-solving approach.
- Ability to work with Melbourne, Australia.
4. What Will Help You Stand Out
- Exposure to n8n, UiPath, Power Automate, Zapier or Make.
- SQL and basic data modelling.
- Docker or container experience.
- ITIL, change management, service desk leadership, Lean or Six Sigma exposure.
- A documented example of a process improved or automated.
