Manager - Building & Infrastructure Service Line

We are seeking a dynamic, commercially driven, and technically competent professional to lead our Building & Infrastructure Service Line in Sri Lanka.

Role & Responsibilities include but not limited to :

  • Business Growth & Commercial Development
    • Develop and execute the annual business strategy and growth plan for the Building & Infrastructure service line.
    • Grow revenue growth through the acquisition of new clients, projects, and key accounts.
    • Expand Bureau Veritas market share in construction, infrastructure, transportation, renewable energy, industrial facilities, and public sector projects.
    • Construction Supervision | Third Party Inspection (TPI) | Project Management Consultancy (PMC)
    • Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) | Vendor Inspection | Asset Integrity Services | Technical Due Diligence | Engineering and Consulting Services
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, contractors, consultants, project owners, government agencies, and funding institutions.
    • Develop annual budgets, forecasts, and business plans; monitor project financial performance and take corrective actions where necessary.

  • Revenue Growth | Gross Margin Achievement | Operating Profit
  • New Business Acquisition
  • Order Intake and Sales Pipeline
  • Customer Retention and Satisfaction

Position Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Project Management, or related discipline.
  • A Master's Degree (MBA or Engineering Management) will be an added advantage.
  • Professional Engineering Memberships and certifications will be highly desirable.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of relevant experience within the Building, Infrastructure, Engineering, Construction, Inspection, Consulting, or Project Management sectors.
  • Minimum 2 years in a senior management or leadership position with direct responsibility for business performance.
  • Strong understanding of construction, infrastructure, industrial, and engineering project environments.
  • Experience in TIC, consulting, engineering, or project services sectors will be a distinct advantage.

Remuneration

Attractive remuneration package with fringe benefits including Medical & Accident Insurance. Age: Between 25 to 45 years.
