Role Overview

n

As Maintenance Operator – Plumber & STP, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of the resort's plumbing systems and Sewage Treatment Plant (STP). You will carry out preventive and corrective maintenance, monitor water and sewage systems, and help maintain a safe, reliable, and well-functioning environment that supports seamless resort operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out daily plumbing repairs and preventive maintenance across the resort.
  • n
  • Operate, monitor, and maintain the Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) to ensure efficient and compliant operation.
  • n
  • Inspect water supply, drainage, and sewage systems to identify and resolve issues promptly.
  • n
  • Maintain pumps, pipes, valves, and other plumbing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • n
  • Record daily STP readings and report equipment malfunctions or operational concerns.
  • n
  • Respond to plumbing maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • n
  • Ensure all maintenance work is carried out in accordance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • n
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while ensuring tools and equipment are properly maintained.

Qualifications

n
    n
  • Diploma, Certificate, or NVQ in Plumbing, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • n
  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in plumbing and STP operations within a star-class hotel, resort, or commercial facility.
  • n
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • n
  • Basic computer literacy with operational and administrative knowledge.
  • n
  • Sound knowledge of plumbing systems, water distribution, drainage, and sewage treatment plant (STP) operations.
  • n
  • Good understanding of health and safety practices, environmental regulations, and ISO standards.
  • n
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
  • n
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, service-oriented attitude.
