Assistant Human Resources Manager
Taj Samudra Colombo, a renowned luxury hotel, is seeking highly skilled and motivated professionals to join our esteemed human resources team. We currently have openings for experienced Assistant Human Resources Manager to contribute to the success and excellence of our facilities
Responsibilities
Coordinate all audit-related activities for the department ISO, Johnson Diversey, Earth Check, and other audits.
Monitoring the VISA Process
Work related to the Union/ ER Committee such as organising and conducting meetings
Handling day-to-day grievances of the employees and performing counselling if necessary
Monitoring the locker rooms, and staff cafeteria and updating the DHR regarding their current conditions and issues that require his attention.
Handling preliminary investigations on disciplinary inquiries and updating DHR on such situations.
Representing the Department in the absence of the DHR/ Attending the Court Cassese etc..
Attending Labour Department-related work etc..
Checking and coordinating all the payments related to HR Department.
Coordinate monthly meetings of the Union/ ER Committee with DHR and maintain the minutes/ records
Sending monthly reports to the corporate office
Coordinate with NAITA and professional institutions in acquiring trainees as per the requirements of all departments.
Handling and maintaining updates to "Taj Buzz"
Maintaining Employee /HOD birthday list and informing GM Office and DHR,
Requirements
Expertise in HRIS systems..
Analytical skills
Interpersonal Skills
Qualification & Experience;
- Degree or Equality Qualification in Human Resource Management (Masters degree will be added advantage)
- 05 years of relevant work experience in the hospitality industry/ Facilities maintenance
